Berwick Botanical Gardens photos – summer of love
We at Black Avenue Productions absolutely love constructing beautiful engagement photos for our couples that truely illustrate the bond between two people and can be used to promote their up-coming wedding event.
On Brooke’s 23rd birthday (16.December 2017), the couple booked us to shoot their engagement photos at their 2018 April wedding location at the tranquil and stunning Berwick Botanical Gardens.
A true love story
Trent and Brooke met through an lucky encounter in 2009 and again in 2010 through friends.
In 2011, they developed a strong friendship and in 2012 they became flat mates.
After a few short months of living together their relationship blossomed into a strong romantic bond.
At this stage, Brooke was just 18 years-old and in her first year of a nursing degree and
Trent was 20 years-old and completing his metal fabrication engineer apprenticeship.
Today they are both qualified in their respective fields and bought their first home together in 2017.
The Proposal
Trent proposed to Brooke on their 5th anniversary in 2017 and they have big plans to marry in 2018 and build their second home.
Brooke says that the best relationship begins with friendship and that she feels beyond lucky to be marrying her best friend.
Trent laughs because he always knew Brooke was ‘the one’, adding that he is so proud of how far they come together and is looking forward to everything that the future holds.
Engagement Photo Shoot – summer of love
Love was truly in the air at this summer engagement photoshoot and we had a ball shooting for such a lovely couple.
The couple had booked Black Avenue Productions to capture their wedding on 7 April 2018, their six-year anniversary, at the picturesque Wilson Botanic Park Berwick – City of Casey, Melbourne, Australia.
Wedding photography and videography is very important to Brooke, because weddings last only one day but wedding photos last for a lifetime or more.
The couple decided to splurge their big wedding budget on upgrading their package with us to include photos, videos and a gorgeous wedding album, as well as an engagement photo session with additional wedding guest book.
The whole package came with generous discount, not to mention piece of mind that everything will be professionally captured.
Brooke wants to use the engagement photos to print save-the-day and and invitation cards, as well as a custom designed wedding guest photo book full of gorgeous pictures for their guests to sign at the reception.
They also plan to play videos from their engagement shoot during their wedding reception and create a more personal feel for guests at their wedding.
Camera shy couple
Initially, Trent was a little camera shy at the engagement shoot (guys usually are) and Brooke had had a long day at the beauty salon for her hair and makeup trial.
When shooting began the couple were a little stiff and unsure of how to pose.
But after getting to know the Black Avenue Productions team, sharing stories and having a laugh the couple soon began to relax and just be themselves and the cameras will do the rest.
The Wilson Botanical Park Berwick made for a exotic, fun location that really added to the atmosphere.
In the end the couple were absolutely thrilled to have the chance to do a practice shoot at their wedding venue and grew very comfortable with all these cameras around them.
Not to mention Brooke’s makeup lasted over 12 hours, which is fantastic!
